best place to get a clutch kit for 2002 172 and how hard to fit ??

I have been looking into LUK and Valeo clutch kits.

Anyone know where the best places are to get one ?

And how hard they are to fit once the gearbox is off ?

Once the gearbox is off it's a doddle. Six bolts, all with easy access.

Just need to make sure it goes back on lined up and the clutch is in the correct way.

How is it for space and seeing what your doing once gearbox is off ?
And can i do it with just the passenger side of subframe dropped ?

4 x 16mm bolts holding the rack on

unbolt the ball joints 2 x 18mm bolts per side

driveshafts off

drop subframe

jack under engine

unbolt gearbox mount

lower jack

box out

Cheers mate

Bumper removal too i'm guessing ?

I'm guessing the radiator can stay in as its being removed from below ?

Track roads end off hub too i'm guessing and cable tie rack out way (if possible) to save strain on pipes.

Does the clutch just bolt in ?

Or do i have to align it at all ?

Without being funny mate, I think you should get someone who has a done a few clutches before to give you hand.
