Yep I posted on here recently with same questions and a lot of people suggested AutoGlym - so I got some AG Bumper Shine (I think its called) and its great......car looks brill
I tend to do it whenever I wash/polish the car, I dont think it harms how much you use it - I put it on about a month ago though and it doesnt need doing again yet
When using any trim care products, make sure the plastic surface is clean and dry apply the product, remove excess, leave to stand for an hour or so then buff up with a clean microfiber towel to stop the product running onto the body work in wet weather..
Clean the trim well first with some Megs All Purpose cleaner or Einszett Plastic Cleaner before dressing, then as Alan says rub the trim gel in well and buff off any excess with a clean cloth.
I have been using AG Bumper Care gel on textured trim and Einszett Vinyl and Rubber Care on Smooth trim, both work well when correctly applied. I have just got a bottle of Black Wow from Brazo which I can't wait to try - looked great when Demo'd to me on a X5 at the weekend.
