best sat nav?

I cant have built in sat nav so want an alternative.

Considering the double din dvd/sat nav units or the flip out screen ones.

But what about portable ones, tom toms and the like, which is the best around? dont need cameras as have a road angel for that that covers laser too unlike the tom toms.

I have a Navman F20. 3.5" colour screen. Cheap, convinient, very good at address finding, points out GATSO's, audio and visual warnings, estimated time, distance. Traffic module as well, but thats an optional extra.

Loads of shizzle I cant be bothered to type.

I've used a Tom Tom for a couple of years and its OK. I've just bought a GARMIN NUVI 300 from carphone Wh0rehouse for £170 and its supurb!
IMO much better that a Tom Tom.
