BG 182

Hello, im relatively new to the forum and thought id show my bg 182, had it about 3 months now and still love it, here are the pics ive got just iphone though:

Yesterday i put on my 3/4 plate :

One final thing, does anyone know what these exhausts are? They are scorpion but make no noise whatsoever, Just pure engine noise. Are they a specific model number or anything? Or is there a way to get them loud? As i want exhausts but if i can get these louder theres no need to spend money.

Looks nice mate, that looks like the scorpian rs192, same as on my BG, not the loudest exhaust but if u want louder get it decated.
Any othe plans?

Rs192 is the exhaust i was looking at buying to! I want to decat but doesnt it run awful decatted? And a light appear on the dash? My plans are to keep it clean at the moment, my last car was low and loud and it got annoying but i have a feeling this one will get the same treatment soon.

Mine ran fine with a decat . However you will get the dash light eventually but this can be removed with an RStuner.

Which decat should i go for? Same brand or? Ive heard of rstuner but i dont fancy doing it myself!

Hi mate ! Just reading through , I've got a k-tec decat on my 182 , its been nearly 5 months and no MIL light and IMO it actually runs better!

I can post a video if you want give you a idea ? Hope your still happy with it !! Very tidy !

Beasley if you would post a video that'd be great, thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I purchased an rs192 decat yesterday so will get that fitted next weekend and see how it goes. How is petrol consumption with a decat added?

So i now have this fitted, rs192 decat. I like the sound it makes but its still not quite loud enough. It has added a raspy noise which sounds really nice, overall quite impressed.

I would like the mid section cut out but dont know if that will really make much difference, and yeah ill definitely get one up soon after all this snow, really wanna drive the car because i havent really heard the true noise yet due to this weather.

I wouldn't bother making it loud, as you'll just sound like every other tit in a 1.2 whatever shed screaming look at me and if you do any distance especially on a motorway at "70" in it, it'll become just a constant drone where you then need to change the amp in your stereo to be able to hear anything on it, seriously not worth the hassle unless you are one of those who think handbrake turns make a girls clothes fall off..............

Keep it subtle with a few tweaks
