BHP Upgrdes

Being totally honest here. I know next to F*** All about the mechanics of cars. If I want to increase my 172s BHP by say 10, what are the options "easiest, cheapest or best". Have read some of your postings regarding ehausts, chips and filters, but Im still a little unsure. I also dont want anything that would invalidate my warranty as I have 30+ months to run.

For 10bhp, easiest way is a de-cat (or sports cat), a decent exhaust system and an enclosed filter such as a Viper or BMC.

Warranty wise I asked at my local dealer and basic "bolt on" mods like an exhaust or a filter do not affect warranty, however a de-cat will so the K-Tec sports cat is the way round this, but costs more!
