BHP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,


just got myself a black 182 05 plate so happy with it, and glad I did not go down the cooper s route now.

Few question.

I have 25k on the clock just had it serviced and is it me or do these engines sound rough, I mean I was expecting it to purrr nice but as Jeremy Clarkson said it sounds like a tunnel boring machine!!!
Is there anywhere I can take it to have it tuned up so it does pur, as Renault just seem to give it a visual in the services.

1, getting a new exhaust this week which will give me the most BHP gains without runing a decat, milltek or Yozza. also does anyone have these fitted near epping essex that would let me have a listen.

2, After reading a lot of posts on here I think I will be getting the iTG Maxogen induction kit is this really the best system around, any RR test reaults.

3, with both milltek/Yozza+iTG Maxogen induction what total BHP gains can I expect.

do a search for "exhaust" there will be loads of threads, you may see a few HP but not much dude!

they do sound lumpy, not much you can really do! tuen the radio up!

as for the filter the ITG seems to please anyone who uses it! but there not cheap! maybe not worth £400 for 1-2 hp?

yeah they do sound very rough - mines on 18k but it sounds like 118k - once warmed up tho its runs very well so it doesnt bother me too much.

if i were you id go milltek and ITG maxogen - some prefer the yozza and it does sound great if you can live with it ie not many motorway miles.

not sure on bhp gains - im guessing not much. ive done much hunting around for these sort of answers and ive found that once these mods are on get it remapped for best drivability results.
