Big end bolts

I'm looking to buy some ARP big end bolts for my 172, and wandered if the bolts on a 172 are the same as a valvers. Anyone know?

rod bolts are the same from memory, although i recall having to machine them to go into the 172 rods

when i ordered mine, arp said they were the same bolts as the valvers. i don't think there was any machining to fit them, but i didn't fit them myself either..

Cheers guys. I saw them at rallydesign for £55. Think I'll order the right ones, as I don't want to be doing any machining!

as i said, i maybe wrong, but i do seem to recall having to machine them down in length, speak to BenR or Icarus
