Bin or clean???

Starter motor on my 172 has a intermittent problem where it keeps sticking.

Got about 50k worth of starts under its belt

Is it worth cleaning or is it time for a new one ??

What sort of price are they?

Cleanin it will do sod all! get a new one. no idea how much they are tho. sorry

I heard that the bushes tend to get caked up with dust from the clutch hence the reason i asked about the cleaning you see

You can probably p/x it for a refurbed one.
