Bird sh*t left mark on me roof

a bird has shat on the roof of me 6 month old 182, and after cleaning it, iv got 2 marks, the same size as the shat. Nothin will get it off, t cut, thinners, etc. Anyone know what will do it??

clay if its on the surface and not marked the paint, if its gone into the paint then its scratch x

so the paint is damaged (by paint i mean the coloured bit, or your clearcoat)

yeah excactly the same as that pic, sorry about the delay in replying, it takes a few mins cus im not a member, so err... do halfords sell this clay bar, and how does it work?

if its like the picture, clay will not do it, you need scratch x, read the post above theres a link to removing it, perhaps not completely, but it will be greatly improved

it comes with a lubricant, and a bar of clay which picks up imprefections in the paint such as bird crap

you rub the clay over the lubricant and hey presto

follow it with a wax.

so wheres the best place to get this clay bar, oh and that link looks good , yeah, its only damaged the top layer, not the paint

^clay will not remove marks from the paint like bird etching/ scratches etc, clay only removes surface dust/muck that has bonded onto the paint

YES, will take a bit of rubbing (upto 10 goes), but i will be suprised if it doesnt at least get alot better at the most go completely

is that stuff the same as SAFE CUT, iv seein in halfords, that the same price too, in a tube, looks like flatting paste when it comes out?

its simillar, but scratch is better, and will look better when done, do use a proper applicator like in the link, and make sure the area is clean, or you will introduce micro scratches

yeh, thats the problems with t-cut etc and a wrong applicator, just believe me, get the scratch x, and a little yellow round sponge applicator too, ps i got some applicators for sale if you need one

nah, the bluetooth dongle kept effing up me usb modem, so i cant get pics on at the mo. But belive me, its exactly the same as in the pic, i got 2 of them, i must say, the t cut has got it out a bit
