Bit torrent for mac.. whats the best

im using transmission at the mo!

first time i have done this kind of shizzle. why is it sooooooo slow!!! I am on a wireless network, not hard wired could that be a reason.. or have i configured the software incorrectly.

at the mo its 2.5kbs

all depends on seeds + leachers, and also what trackers you can connect to.

tbh its hit and miss with public torrent sites, as half the times, even torrents with a load of seeds and barely any leachers go s**t slow.

your better off using private sites!

a seed = someone that has the full file that your downloading
a leacher = someone that is downloading the file

however, you can still download off a leacher if they have parts of the file you dont yet have.

I have accounts on loads of private sites, ill pm you a load in a sec, as i dont think its allowed to post the links publically.

you might also want to check that your ports are forwarded on your router
