when i had it the clutch was notchy, dunno if you've found this. Was biting fine but as you say quite high, get it looked at prob got a year or so left in it but if your finding it uncomfortable get it changed
^ yep sting the wallet in one big go lol. As has says defo get the cambelt done this year just to be on the safe side as it has a high mileage for its age
do i get a cambelt full kit? if so how much am i looking for that and a new clutch including fitting? would no one of her do it for me?
middo im gonna bring car to stoke sometime to see you!
cheers
lol that would be mint would love to see the old car again! cant really help you on price, as i'm not really confident enough with my estimates, edde should be able to help you though
clutches are around 80 IIRC, fitting really isnt that difficult, get a haynes manual and your away! I paid £160 to have my cambelt and idler pullys changed all in so not too bad!
If your getting it all fitted then reckon about £400ish all in i'd have said
i would defo defo get the cambelt done without a shadow of a doubt, it just simply isnt worth the risk. As for clutch, that will be fine for maybe another 10k, but its weather you can put up with it for that long.
