Mine's a black 04 plate 182

Paid 3.6k for it with something like 73k on the clock in June. Did have to get the belts done though, so let's say it cost me £4k.. not bad?

Sounds pretty good. I just paid 5 and a half for mine. Same reg but only 40k and just had the belts done along with a shiny new stainless steel exhaust.

That was from a dealer though. I know I coulda saved money on a private sale but I know fuckall about cars really so needed the peace of mind to be able to get some sort of recompense if it blew up half a mile down the road. Plus they gave me £750 for my POS Corsa. I'da been happy with £200 for it.

Price sounds about right tbh, i just buoght a 04 plate with 30k miles and belts done (non cupped) few weeks ago, for £3800 from a dealer. in my opinion i dont think the 182's are worth anymore than 4.5k regardless of mileage or condition, at the end of the day its just a 5/6 year old renault.

I'm not saying all of them are overpriced, I'd happily pay 5-6k for one, but some of them are massively overpriced. Just because they have some KTR Coilys etc doesnt mean the price should be 1k more than exactly the same car without them..

i have looked at about 20 182 cups over the last week at around 3k to 4k and they have all been absolute nails...how any one can treat there cars so bad is beyond me...ok it 5/6 years old but that shouldnt be a problem if looked after:S
