Black Bumper Strips

Has anyone ever tried painting there bumper strips satin black? mine are quite faded and i dont want to colour code as i think the black seperates the silver of my car nicely. Any advice on this would be great!

I remove the bumpers, then remove the bumper strips and painted them individually. Then put them back on.
