black gold 182 clios

Richs one looks lovely!

tell me about it. To get results like that though takes years of experince and dedication to car detailing.

Have you seen some of the products he uses? Most of them ive never heard of before. lol.

I dont think there can be anyone in the country who knows more about car detailing than Rich

Yeah, lol! I'd never heard of all those products until I came on here, but I'm gradually getting an idea to some of the good products to use. Thanks to him and various other people on here who's advice I've took, my paint has no swirl marks in, and is well looked after. But I still couldn't be bothered to spend the amount of time on it as Rich does lol!

nice when clean.....but keeping clean is a pain! the black looks alot better than a dynamique black (imo!)

hardly ever see the gold flecks :(

You want to see the Pink 182's with purple crosses and yellow dots, with green speckles. They look the nuts ;)

As said this is why it is called Black Gold.

Trust me - I really don't spend very much time (if any) a week cleaning mine !

Thats because you don't drive the bloody thing! Look at the tread on the tyres! I bet you only took the shrink wrap off to do that photo!

:D:D:D

Not really the products more the prep - if the surface has marring and swirl marks they will hide the flake as it is very fine, as long as the surface is well polished it should help the flake pop out. The products you choose will make a bit of difference, most sealants are clear looking so ideal for use on metallic finishes. Some Carnuba Waxes will darken the paint slighty and can mute the metallic flake in doing it, but most waxes will let the metallic show through.

Rich.... when will you actually drive your car? ;)

Only kidding, looks fab, going to try and sort out my swirl marks this weekend and get it back to its former glory. :)

Rich's car is amazing..Always so clean and tidy.

I think he needs to drive it more though. Have you reached 10k miles yet? ;)

Tys.

Very rarely, last driven at the beginning of December.

At least you will have the weather for it.
