Working by hand Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss both work well on Black Gold when used and worked correctly, most people use to much and dont get succesful results.
In most cases though the paint tends to need something more abbrasive than the Super Resin to clean it up. Working by hand Meguiars Scratch X is the best option to correct the deeper defects and swirl marks that SRP wont sort.
By hand it may not be 100% succesfull and is very hard work - The easiest way to restore gloss on Black is a machine polish with a variety of polishes to get the paint looking the best it can. This is the route I went with my own car.
After this I have had good results with either Autoglym Super Resin and multiple coats of the AG Extra Gloss Protection, or Klasse All In One and some coats of Jeffs Acylic Jett Sealant.

To enhance looks further a pure carnuba wax over the long lasting protection left by the sealants will give a deeper warmer glow. There area good few choices when it comes down to pure carnuba's, most which come down to budget.
My own choices:
Under £25 - Chemical Guys 50/50
