Try the fuses sounds obvious but there should be 2+ fuses on the amp and one on the power lead.

Check these lad and let us know if you are still having problems!

I checked the Fuse on the amp and it seems fine... No Pieces broken or anything...

What would it look like if it was broken, where would i get a new one from??

The Switch was the 'Bass DB Level' I turned it up towards the +...

What about the fuse on the battery end? (must be one within 18" or so of the battery) not v.likly but worth a look

Yeah it will be the fuse on the power cable, in a fuse you will see a little metal line this line needs to be complete for the amp to work, if there is a crack or piece missing the amp will not function.

When you turn up the bass the amp trys to draw more power from the battery and as the amp will have its limits it sounds like the fuse on the power cable has blown to pretect your amp.

You can get a pack of 3+ fuses for £1+ from halfords.

Well I found out the problem!!

Apparently my amp isnt receiving enough power...

I got it professionaly tested...

It recieves 13-14V straight out of the battery, then as soon as my headunit is switched on, that figure drops to 5V...

So its like my headunit is gobbling up all the power...

Any idea what the actual problem is?? and how to fix it??

thats a bad earth all the voltage is being dropped at the high resistance connection between your - from the amp and the cars chassis

if you got a multimeter with a dc current setting i could tell you how to prove it
