BLobs :)

The Boosh!

Car  Elise, Duster
when i was priming some plastic (practising before i do the bumpers) there was places where paint fell heavier than others so i just got blobs of paint here and there (if that makes sense)

i was keeping my distance with the can and trying to do it even...

any one know where i was going wrong?

the blobs have practically gone now but going to sand it down with fine sand paper when dry and have a nother go :)

happens with aerosols.

just make sure you shake the can up well and warm it up beforehand to thin it right down. also make sure your finger aint getting covered in paint as that will cause "blobs"

then, hope for the best

if u read the back of the can it says to shake it until the little ball stops rattling which means its properly mixed but yeh give it a good shake and do it in straight lines back and forth an it should come out ok.

^the ball in the can ussually starts rattling a couple of seconds after you start shaking it then you are sposed to carry on shaking for about 2 minutes. try heating the can up with a hot air gun but not for to long or it will go pop. or put it in a bucket of hot water

Aerosols do seem to spit blobs of paint sometimes , especially if you have uneven pressure on the nozzle .
