Block sites

I want to be able to block certain sites on the internet, like p**n etc etc. I know its possible in the options in IE but cant see it in firefix 2.

Is there any software, preferably free that will do this for me. Thanks.

check yer firewall package u can normally set age groups and areas to ban

lol....i can get p**n from other good sources dont need crapy sites with it.

lol, no better place than the internet though, if you are blocking sites are you using newsgroups?

whats the reason for the blocking, kids?

I block stuff at my router, pisses the missus off immensely when i block amazon

erm i do use newsgroups, its to stop certain somebodies going on sites. I'll have a look at the router, but i think I can only block ports

We use a program called Surfcontrol. Google should bring it up, can be installed on a single machine or on a server and used as a proxy.

Use a old PC as a proxy server full control then.
