Blown my tweeters !!!!

Have blown my infinity tweeters, can I replace them with any tweeter I like or would you advise sticking with Infinity, also where can I get some cheap ??

Mike - You can use any tweeter, a tweet is a tweeter at the end of the day. Try caraudiodirect.com - you can pick up a set there. My only fear is that i feel your mids have blown too, you maybe best replacing your comps altogether if so.

If you hear distortion turn the hu down, youll save £££ in the future. Or run them from an amp - which should help.

Cheers mate, will disconnect the tweeters and have a listen to the mids, need a dry day though to take it all apart [unlike Sunday !!], may have to go for the £50 JBLs someones been talking about ! Dont think I can be bothered with another amp as I will probably be selling the car next year with all the speakers etc in it.
