Blown plug and lead

Managed to blow a plug and lead on way home from the ring, luckily one of the lads had a spare but had to bodge the lead to get home,,

Just wondering do I need to buy just 1 new plug and 1 new lead or better buying a full new set of both?

It would of been ticking it's head off if it was working lose. It's common on cylinder 3 anyway, doubt it was his fault if it's lasted ages.

Unless they were Bosch Super4s. Use NGKR only

Ngk plugs were used. Hope you sort it Dan we need to sort a trackday in the next couple of months

I drove all way to the ring and did about 11 laps and the car was perfect then on way home came to a junction and it just went bang

Would you say get 4 new ngk plugs and standard leads or just 1 of each?

Its no biggie got a new plug in anyway like just wanna know weather to get 4 new plugs and leads or 1..

replace the whole set! You'd get away with just replacing the pair but I wouldn't! Happened to me as well a couple years ago. You're lucky the threads alright!

Replace the whole set ensure they are torqued correctly. 32nm.
