I'm with Tesco. I get really cheap quotes for everything other than Japanese which is what I want! I don't know why. 2yrs no claims. I have put my mum and aunt down as a named drivers which brought it down because they are women and old!

I can get a Golf R32 for £900, a Focus RS for £900, the new Focus ST for £880, Lotus Elise for 1k, Escort Cossie £1300, but japanese.... all over 2k.

Just did a quote online with Tesco. I had an SP30 speeding fine in 2004, put my mum (50yrs old) and the missis (22yrs old) etc. etc. Still came out at £1456! What am doing wrong!?!
Guess I need to be a girl to get cheaper insurance....Sheila's Wheels and all that!!!

Sheila's wheels won't insure me on my car. Diamond won't either as supposedly there are high claims with Cups. Your girlfriend being on it will most probably not bring it down. Try Elephant and put 2 older women on as named drivers and see what that comes out at.

Will give it a try and on second thoughts I've just remembered how my Gf drives (not disrespecting women drivers in any way!) she could barely handle her old smart car so the cup may spell disaster.
