Hi again everyone, it's been a while since i've posted anything - mainly because I sold my Sport to buy a Diesel (saving up for a wedding you see) and since then haven't really been into doing anything to it. However I've recently started having that urge to change things and make her my own (and something I'm proud to drive despite the fact it's a diesel!) so thought I'd start a new thread to document it.

Anyway here she is as she stands now:

So far I've done a few little things including:
Silvatech bulbs and crystal clear indicator caps;
New reg plate light;
Sports mats from my previous car;
New parcel shelf (it came with one that had two chavvy speakers cut into it );
LED sidelights;
Mini service (oil filter, oil change etc);
Sprayed dash strips;
Sprayed gear knob insert;
Sprayed bullets.

I've also just acquired a 172 rear bumper that I'm going to get resprayed when I have some money as well as 172 front door cards which I'm picking up tonight.

So far:
Bullets and indicator caps

Dash strips, mats and gear knob insert

Gear knob insert

172 bumper

So there she is. Plans for the future include:
getting the 172 bumper spayed and fitted;
sport door cards;
refurbish headlights;
decent headlight bulbs;
maybe some 16" alloys;
RS grille;
new reg plates;
repair scratched wing

looks nice a pretty late one too being an 05, is it a dci 65? get yourself onto www.cliodci.net too!

Ha I know what you mean but everything I've done so far has been small, and the bumper only cost me £30. It's likely this is going to be a long thread as it's going to be slow going but I'll get there! It is a 65, and I'll check it out thanks

Picked up and installed some front sport door cards yesterday, the alacantra is somewhat worn but for a fiver off Ebay I can't really complain. Anyhow this is how they look:

Been quiet for a while on here, but had some recent developments with the old DCI.

Swapped out the front grill for a sports one:

Spent two hours yesterday restoring my glazed and yellowed headlights using the 3M kit and finished them with some UV protecting polish:

Still can't get over the difference, blows me away every time I see them. Hope they stay this way for a while now! Front end looks pretty sweet, needs a good wash to get rid of all the crap that came off the headlights though so will post some pics when that gets done!

Also won some rear Sport door cards on Ebay for a fiver, and when I went to pick them up got offered the Sport rear seats for a tenner, so got them too. Will post pics at some point, but looking out for some cheap front seats to complete the look.

Lastly (for now) I've purchased some exterior door handles which, along with the Sport rear bumper that's been sat in my shed for months, will hopefully be getting cc'd at some point (probably after my wedding in May) and put on the car. Would love to lower her eventually as the monster truck look really isn't doing it for me, but again that's going to have to wait - anyone have recommendations for when I do?
