bluetooth head unit

im looking for a head unit with bluetooth feature to accept/make calls at minimum and ipod ready (not just aux in). Do any head units show/read aloud sms messages or allow scrolling through the phonebook?? I found this bluetooth unit on ebay with tv tuner, thought it looked a bargain, anyone experienced these??

reading a message on your radio is just as bad as reading it off your phone,you still have to take your eyes off the road,if you really wanna text then pullover

the unit your looking at is cheap shite,guarantee itll break within 6 months and youll need to hardwire it in order to fit it.stick to GOOD brand

if you want to see texts then buy a satnav as the new tom toms (520 and 720) read them out to you

ye that does sound good, but it uses fm transmitter for the ipod doesnt it?so the sound is shite.

its the same as any unit nower days either 3.5mm jack or aux in,cant remember which on that unit
