e36, why are they so cheap,

can have a good one for like £600-£1k.

All high milage but my pal had a 110k m3 e46 and doesnt miss a beat.

a 1995 N plate is a good looking car but is 12 years old remember!

They've always been cheap, one of my mates had a grey J reg a while back, that had done over 100k, he was asking the going rate for it. He struggled to sell it as the market was (and still is) flooded with them.

At the end of the day, if you want one, go for one with a decent spec, something that you'll be able to sell on, otherwise you'd be lumbered with it. I'd avoid pov spec ones too. Wind down rear windows & hubcaps on a bmw - no thanks.

Just sold my M reg 318ti sport, spent loads on it moding it....fairplay it was 12 yeras old but absolutely no probs at all..very strong car..

Just had to get back in a clio sport....bliss

^^ what was the spec and what did you sell if for???

im after a 3 door. pref 320 or above but id take a 318.

It had all the elecs..M-tech spec....sold it to get in something newer, nicer to drive....

The 318ti was 140bhp, quite heavy car though so took a while to get going..not bad once it picked up..

BMW 6 cylinders, providing they've been looked after are good for 250,000 miles and more.

Avoid the 4 cylinder ones if you like driving though. They are Slow at best.

Yep 2 door.

Not that pricey if you can find a tidy one, though you will have to pay a bit more for a nice,well looked after one!!

Didnt really measure how much extra I got out of it....

Put a Pipercross Viper Induction kit on it with cold air feed,
Stainless exhaust cat back,
Ecotek valve....
