Body Conversions

  Valver Lookalike Mk1 Ph3
Why is it that when a guy with a mk1 buys Valver parts and does a body conversion every1 loves it.

But if someone buys a V6 kit for a mk2.................

  Chocolate Bar™
stigma. everyone loves it when you put a good 172 conversion on a non-RS.

i think its cause the V6 is a completely different platform, and they never seem to look right. the expense is also massive. so massive id have to go for a super1600 kit :D

  Clio v6
Some people just worry about owners spending a lot of money to copy a another model if it might be cheaper to wait a while and get the real thing.

I want to look like Jeniffer Ellison.

the v6 kit never looks right when you see a rear bench in the back instead of an engine, at least with a FWD car you can pretent the engine is bigger than it is

some cars should not be emulated, Clio v6, Metro 6R4, 205 M16, R5 Turbo 1&2 etc etc, as they have their own place in history (albeit short for some) cheap fibreglass copies are only going to look ridiculous IMHO

for a lot of money you could get the s1600 bodykit for the clio, which IMHO is a far better looking kit, take as much effort to fit, but retain some respect in the fact the engine is in the right place and it looks good that way

could you imagine seeing a v6 rolling past with rear passengers? would look stupid as hell above the bulbous arches

  Ziel Nurburgring
Because its not massively obvious its not the real thing? its been done many times, and each time doesnt look right.
