Bone Idle

My car seems to like to idle at 600 rpm on start up which if your not careful stalls it! Then when the ECU realises the Rev counter jumps up down between 700-1100 rpm! I took it to the renault dealer to plug into their computer and said nowt was wrong! Could it be that the choke (if it has one) needs sorting?

same happened with my diesel clio. What you need to do is keep taking it back to the dealer until they do something. My cars ecu was faulty and sometimes the car would not start, my dealership refused to acknowledge the problem so every time the car wounldnt start i got the AA to tow my car to the dealer. After 3 months they fixed it and its been rite as rain ever since.
