bonnet adjustment.....

bit a weird one, but here goes....

many months ago i had the bonnet catch replaced by renault under warrenty (basically, went for a service, got it back, bonnet wouldnt open etc etc!)

ever since this was done the bonnet doesnt quite 'sit right' - bonnet is slightly higher than the wings and there is a larger gap (not massive) above the grill - can push on the bonnet and it has a bit of movement :dapprove:

any ideas how this can be adjusted?

there are 2 rubber blocks which you can screw in/out to adjust where the bonnet rests.

thank you for the replies!

messed around with the rubber blocks last night, they have brought it in line with the wings, but still a gap at the front - bonnet is closed securely, but still has some travel in the spring!!!

even if ya wind the blocks right the way down it leaves a gap at the front and ya can still push down on it!

any other suggestions guys? possibly a dodgy bonnet catch?!

take it back to renault, kick up a fuss and get them to sort it out

Renault aint gonna do anything about.
You say it was months ago, why the hell didnt you just take it back the day you noticed it?
