Bonnet Issues

Hi

I may be being silly here but I cannot open my bonnet. I pull the lever in the passenger foot well then lift the bonnet a little and pull on the lever. Tried it plenty of times but still cant lift bonnet?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Is there any alternative way to open the bonnet?

have you tried pushing down on the bonnet whilst some one pulls the lever?

Bonnet starting to wind me up now, tried for a hour last night and 2 hours this morning..

It seems strange tho as the pull lever still has tension and pings back ?

The catch isn't releasing. get a friend to gently lift/wiggle the bonnet up while you pull the lever all the way. Don't push on it or else you will end up denting it!

Out of curiosity, has the recall been done buddy?

Phone Renault, they 'should' have it on their database

Any dealer mate, they share the database all over the UK IIRC
