Bonnet release

alright guys, my bonnet release isnt working i need to put water in for the wipers! i pull it and it just goes straight up although it doesnt feel to lose. any ideas on what i can do, is this a common problem? or shall i just take it to a garage?

Does it feel stiff when you pull it? or is it dead easy to pull? Maybe the cables snapped. Take it to renault see what they say, after all we know they're bonnet catches are shite anyway.

it does still feel stiff not too too easy to pull so i think i might just take it to a garage

Has anyone tried pulling up on the bonnet at the same time as you pull the lever? Bonnet might just be a little bit stiff maybe?
