bonnet sensor problem

hi

i seem to have a problem with my bonnet sensor it keeps tripping the electrical fault light and wont let me go over 50mph as soon as i open the bonnet and close it it goes so im assuming i need a new sensor but i cant seem to find one for sale or find a fix anywhere please help ???
