Boomting Valver Sub

Anyone suggest a good sub for a valver? Ive currently got a 12in Maystar 600w rms sub runnin off a 1000w amp and it dont sound that great! Nothin wrong with the sub as it was phat in my mates 206 when we tried it! Any sensible suggestions?

if it was ok in ur mates car its either been installed wrong or ur blown it

what impedance does ur sub do 1000w at and whats ur budget?

arnt u meant to stick to reputable brands? i dunno. also i know that ur meant to get ya amp about the same rms as yoyr sub to get the best performance.
