Boost Bus correction.

  Mini JCW
More a progress thread on the R26 paintwork correction.

I'm taking this panel by panel due to A) Time constraints and B) Being slow.

So, I started with the bonnet - rinshed, washed, rinsed, Iron X, Tardis and CYC fine clay (with LT as lube).

Not much contamination left :

Followed by a rinse off, dry and to inspect the condition of the paintwork...

Swirls and RDS evident :

I tried a few combinations, but settled on :

CG Hexalogic green pad with Menz PF2500

Refined with CG Hex white pad + Menz SF4500

Paintwork cleansed with CG Hex black pad + Poorboys blackhole.

LSP is 1 coat of Raceglaze 55 wax.

I figure I achieved about 80 - 85% correction, but the paint was a little tricky to fathom, harder than I thought!

These are the finished results :

Did you only iron x and tardis the bonnet? If you did, when you do the rest of the car im sure ironx/tardis will go on when rinsingand remove some of your lsp. Otherwise good work!
