Boost leak

Turbo owners, I have a hissing at about 3,000 revs sounds like its coming from the dash.

Could I have a vacume leak on the boost gauge.

I have a idea that Im under reading on the boost gauge as its not doing much then snaps up under load.

what if you block off the gauge pipe under the bonnet? does the hissing stop.

Wasnt that, manifold was hanging off!

!!! lol u fixed it ??? was gonna say if u have a diaphram type dv on it could be that as they tend to hiss when they are open...

Different noise to the dv... but at the same sort of revs af the presure build up...
