Boot Light

I'm going to put some LED strips in my boot and want them to come on when the boot opens, so i'm going to wire them into the wires that go to the boot light. However, i'm not going to want the boot light anymore, so does anyone know if there is a male/female part of the connector that i can buy to wire onto the LEDs? (so i have to cut no wires, literally just plug my replacement leds in, instead of the light?)

Just buy a pair of spade terminals and crimp them onto the end of the LED light wires

will they go straight into the connector off the standard light ?? must admit i havent looked at it in ages... :/

i'd go to a scrappy and get a second light and use that to some how connect the wires to
