Boot lock has stopped working all of sudden.
It used to be a load thud when it locked and now it's nothing.

I can lock the car via the remote but the boot, does f**k all

any fuses ?
Checked the connections I the tail gate and the rubber boots trough the roof to the boot, no damage to wiring.

Hadto park it bumper upto the wall ATM so need this fixing quickly

any help appreciated thanks

It's the solenoid mate, mine didn't lock when I first got my car,
£30 from Renault and 5 minutes of your time with a socket set.

Surprised you had to ask tbh.

Just manually lock it by pulling the lever.

Just puzzled me as it was working as I left work this morning and now isn't.

will lock it manually for now.

Sooner this bloody thing goes, the better

Mine did this a while ago. Just took it out and it had a load of dust and a bit of broken plastic in the mech. Cleaned and re-greased, jobs a good un

Same thing happened to my passengers door. Changed the locking mech for a space I had and it worked again. Was intermittent locking and unlocking for a while before.

Something was doing weird last time. The drivers lock would be hit and miss if it would lock.
and wasn't as loud a thud , then the boot lol gave up and the doors now make a thud when locked.

All of the power must of been drawn to that

I've manually locked it now like Dave said.
Soliniod is also disconnected incase it all of sudden tries to work again
