boot not locking

When i lock the car with the central locking button, the doors lock but the boot doesnt, any ideas on what could be causing this? thanks!

Solenoid apparently, mines the other way round its locked shut so ive never been bothered about it, do a search there was quite a few topics on it mate

All sorted took it apart, and re-greased the two cogs.
