Hi guys,
Got a bit of a weird problem with my boot.
Basically, whenever I start driving, literally straight away, the door open icon on the dash comes on. I have drilled this down to being the boot, as when I get out of the car and try to lock my car, I get the long beep which tells me a door is open.
I then have to open the boot, slam it shut and push it down whilst I lock it. Once locked, I can let go and the beeping stops (as the car now thinks all doors are shut).
However, the alarm tends to go off a hell of a lot now. I assume this is because the boot is not being pushed down and eventually convinces the car that it is open again.
This points to a problem either with the boot lock or with the way the boot is sitting on the car. What do you think? How can I repair this?
