Boot smoothing

Im thinking of getting my boot smoothed off soon, Get rid of the wiper and the lock, But if i get rid of the lock how would i get into the boot??

Ive seen a couple done with no means of getting into the boot,

Solenoid. Button in the car which activates it.. or you can use an alarm fob if you have the extra buttons (Like a Clifford)

u can use the solenoid for the central lockin!

yer but if you get a solenoid fitted on the boot make sure its a heavy duty one (i think clifford actually do a purpose built solenoid for boot release) and that the switch is a flick switch so it cant be left on and burn the motor out like i did!!!

you can technically not bother with a solenoid to start with, but you have to climb in through your back seats and manaully release it, which can i testify gets annoying after a while!

Aint i only one solenoid?? Would i need another for the boot or does it all run off the same 1?? And where is it??

what?? didnt really understand that one there mate! ull need a seperate solenoid for the boot release which will push a rod which is connected to your boot lock. its a mechanical operation at the end of the day
