Borrow a PC or UDM/Similar?

TBH I wouldn't lend my PC and pads to anyone unless they knew what they were doing as its pretty expensive piece of kit.

TBH if your paint is in bad nick I would get someone to do it properly then you can look after it yourself. If you don't know what your doing you can make a lot of mess, and if you haven't used one before then people (like myself!) might be a bit hesitant to let you borrow it for obvious reasons. Don't mean to sound out of order!

Yea nar mean, malmesburys like near swindon, (N) when i got the car the paint was in real bad condition, its covered in chips and scratches, most of which are beyond help, i think i will just save and get a polisher tbh.

I would get my own to be honest, it is expensive and takes time to learn, but it will last for ages so is cost effective over the long term. Plus even if you get your paint 100% it will always get some scratches and swirls over time so you can remove them yourself.

i4detailing seem to have the best deals as they have a 7.5% discount for CS members.

Hi mate, have a look on www.detailingworld.co.uk that is the place to get some HELPFUL advice as im sure there are plenty folk round your way who would be more than happy to help you out, failing that you could pick up a cheap pc on ebay get yourself a scrap panel to practise on.

I wasn't being a dick I was saying that it is, in my opinion to say "hi I want x but I don't want to pay for x" is a bit cheeky to people that don't know you and I said on the same post to check Detailing World which is what you have just said.

I am always on here trying to give "HELPFUL" advice to people for your info.

My financial situation is absolutely none of your concern mate, but no I'm not exactly swimming in it right now if that makes you feel any better? I gave MY opinion and some advice and then some of you are making out like I was out of order, to be honest I don't care what your opinion of me is mate but if anyone feels that I was "a wanker" or "a dick" I would prefer if you would PM me with why you feel like that rather than trying to have a go on here. I have been on this forum giving advice where I can for a couple of years now, and some of you guys just pop up and make out like you know everything about eveything and everyone.

Really quite pissed off with how some of the people on here think they can get involved with things that don't concern them. To those people, either contact me directly and I can put you straight.

Cool I am of a similar opinion. If I thought I was in the wrong I would have appologised ages ago, when I have said stuff in the heat of the moment I have, but on this occassion I don't think I have so I won't be.
