Both belt kits or Recaros?

  Audi TT 3.2 V6
Remember to declare your new seats to the insurance. That will cost a tad more?

Get the belts done first imo.

Seats were fitted in the car at the factory. I'm pretty sure he was told the original owner paid to have them as an optional extra ;)

Recaros are really over rated mate! I would take the standard full fat seats over the recaros anyday of the week!
As far as I'm concerned with my cars, general maintenance and routine servicing comes before any modifications.
At the end of the day it is my mode of transport so I want it to be in good working order before anything else.

Get your belts done, no harm in doing them early.

belts first but get recaros as well and put them on a low interest credit card and pay that off over 5months. Job done

Thats not really an option tbh

neither, save some more and drop a 172 engine in the mk1!!! WOOP WOOP

What are you on about lol

Don't get the seats, there are far better out there. £500 to lower the driving position by 10mm? Not a mistake I'll make again.

Its not to lower the driving position, i want more comfortable seats because on long journeys my back/kidneys start hurting and i get really uncomfortable, looking for more support really. If i had a choice i'd go for misanos but i haven't got the money and recaros look good.

If the seats come up every other day for this price i'd be booking my car in for the belts right now, but they dont so im getting the seats and the belts are definitely next.

I've never sat in the recaros so i don't really know what support or comfort they offer but from what i've read they are pretty good

Misano's are cheaper than recaro's.

You actually get more lower back support with the standard seats with adjustable lumbar support.

Sell your seats seperately. I got £120 for 5 year old 172 seats without any effort.
