Bought a 182 today - got a few issues...

  182 FF
Well, I've eventually bought a 182 in Racing Blue and it does drive very nice.
However, I've found a few issues on the way home that I hope you can advise on..
1. The horn doesn't work
2. The front fogs don't work (but the light in the dash does come in)
3. The boot doesn't lock. Doors lock on the press of the key but the boot can still be opened

I'll do some searches on here tomorrow for these issues, but any pointers would be appreciated.

Lastly, the engine cover is in the boot and the fastening screws are missing. Can anyone tell me the size/pitch needed?

Regarding the horn I had the same problem all I done was take the spade connection of it give it a clean then it worked, good luck.

  Many.
Horn is as said, mostly liekly a dirty connection on the horn itself, remove bumper, or arch liner to gain access. Located in passenger side front corner

Fogs, check they are plugged in (Same area as horn), if plugged in, check bulbs, Unlikely to be switch if light comes on, could be relay, but I forget which one it is.

Boot lock, take the trim off, check its all together as it should be, but most likely the solenoid.

Hope this helps :)

Edit: You can buy kits for the engine cover on ebay, nice Allen head jobbies, I believe its somebody on here that sells them mind!
