Bought a New top mount kit... BUT

i just bought a new top mount KIT from renault

but the nut is different to the one already on the car?

the one ontop of the rubber mount?

should i use the newone or the old one?

and will the washers wont fit over the nut either

this is the revised kit

and yeah i took a picture of the screen while the guy had it up...lol

That seperate nut is not used. Just biuld it up with your old nuts but the new rubber and bearing.

which way up does part number 3 fit? and that fits on top of the top spring cup yeah?

How much was the new kit mate? Did you buy the specific sport one, or the cheaper 1.2 kit?

all fitted now didn't take long

was £72 for that kit

ALL clios (maybe expect the V6) are the same

i need to order that kit tryed today at arnold clarke renault but they said renault dont sell the kit anymore :S ill try manchester 2moz

I have my old top mounts in the garage, could of had them much cheaper than £72

So you got both sides for £72, or £72 a side?

all i got for the £72 is in my picture above

not cheap eh ..lol

the drivers side, (the one i just changed) fits better than before and compared to the passenger side

what i mean is there is less gap between the turret top and the top washer (6 from pic below)
