Any updates on this Chris?
Well I'm still loving it to bits, it still puts a grin on my face every single day driving to work, and I still don't regret it one bit. Had a full service on Christmas Eve, had all new (OEM) brakes and it seems to stop like I'm hitting a brick wall now, I love how ridiculously over-specced it all is.
Thought about lowering it? Would look smart with a subtle drop I reckon.
Considered H&Rs but read wildly varying reports on what suspension mods actually do to the handling. From what I can tell it's set up pretty much perfectly and is extremely easy to make a mess of. Also why I've stuck with the original wheels and skinny tyre combo, I might be lacking in outright grip (although there is more than enough) compared to those who've gone for wider tyres, but it feels perfectly set up for my driving so I don't really want to ruin that by making it a bit quicker but less fun.
Considered trying to get it below 900kg, but have decided to stay completely standard (the back seats etc are out, but only take a few minutes to put back in). Of the few hundred that exist, most seem to have mods of some kind, so I figured I would stand out from the -small- crowd and keep the factory spec.
