He's talking b****cks imo . I have some Goodridge stainless brake hoses here still in the box . If that was the case they would have to state not for road use on the box and they don't .

i was going to buy a set for my uno turbo along time ago but was told buy elite that i should not go for them as the mot stations don't like them due to not being able to see the condition of the rubber under the braid. want to buy a set for the hybrid as i heard it gives a better brake feel and im not to bothered about the mot now as they did'nt seem to mind about the decat.

^^^ Lol that mot station is quality if they werent bothered bout the decat. I had ss lines on my old vtr saxo and they improved the brake feel massively. You can litteraly set the pads on fire and you know when your runniing out of brakes as you can feel everything through the brake pedal.

Defo will be doing this to my 182 in time, as at present as they get hotter, I feel the info through the pedal is comprimised with the rubber lines.

They'll have a job on checking the rubber on goodridge hoses . They are made from ptfe under the stainless braid ;)

Why would he need to check the quality of the rubber they're not made of rubber anyway?

Braided lines are a million times better at both stopping expansion and protecting from damage.

I've had some braided lines from yozzasport fitted along with greenstuff pads, and it makes quite the difference i will say that much, they feel a lot better now.
