Brake bleeding

I cant believe i have just done this, was bleeding away with one of those one man bleeders when the nice rock hard pedel went really soft (after 5 minutes of pumping) the next stroke just went thump straight to the floor.

I had run out of fluid i cant bloody believe it now i cant get the pedal pressure back have bled roughly 500ml through it and still nothing, do i need to do it diagonally?

One man bleeders don't need you to pump the pedal?

Are you used the Gunners kit? If so you just stick it on the brake tank and put some pressure via a car toia to in undo the bleed nipples one at a time and let the fluid/air out for a bit.

its the one with a pipe and a one way valve on it, just got another litre so will go and waste that now grrrr bloody french cars
