brake disc size

whats the largest brake disc size that will fit on a mk2 172 running standard 16" wheels?

WOuld have thought a 300mm disc would just about fit using the standard calipers.

was looking to maybe get some laguna V6 discs and calipers, not sure of there exact size though.

Im uprating mine to Tarox G88 discs up front and Ferodo DS2000 pads hopefully next week if my brother can get them to me.
