Brake drum painting

My brake drums are getting fairly discoloured so I was after painting them black, whats better to use; aerosol or can? I can get both by hammerite in smooth black cheap and I was wondering what to go for.

Also if this is in the wrong forum I apologise.

use a wirebrush and get all the surface rust off, then i used hammerite smooth, give it a couple of coats and win.

I bought an aerosol then pussied out and bought a tin of paint as I didn't want the hassle of masking all the car up!

Can and a small brush. Sack masking off half the rear of the car.

Just don't put a colour on them...worst thing ever imo. Brush will be fine.

There any real difference between finishes? Not that it really matters I guess it's only a bleedin' brake drum.

And yeah it's gonna be black don't worry, not red with "Brembo" written on in marker pen..
