Brake help

Hey all,

I need some new front brake pads for my Mk1 Ph3 Clio.

I have some mates in Halfords who can get me a set of 4 front pads for trade price - But 1 thing he said to me is this...

"Whats kind of pads are they? DBA or Lucas"

I said I have noooo idea.

How do i find out?

look on your callipar it says LUCAS on it, i.e. Engraved, and DBS if its DBS!!

My Mk1 ph3 is Lucas, but just look on you calipar, if you got alloys you dont even have to take the wheel off!!

I would get soem EBC green stuff ones mate!!

I would get Green Stuff pads, but im on a tight budget what with Alloys and Springs on the way!

Fair point, what wheels you thinkin??


Mine is gettin 35mm drop and EBC discs and pads, hoping to get it back by Sunday!!!
