Brake Light Q

Hey all. I have noticed when sitting in traffic that i have to push my brake pedal quite far down before my brake lights come on. Is anyone elses car like this?

It can happen have a look at your brake switch on the pedal box might need a new one or check your is fitted and twsited in place correctly etc.
