Brake light sensor position help!

Hi everyone, a few weeks back i had the height of the break light sensor adjusted cos the engine management light came on again. It's come on again and i,m certain it's the same thing. Is it pos to get the codes without plugging in the scanner, turning off the light and how do i adjust the sensor? I saw a thread about this but i can't find it anywhere. please help cos i can't afford to keep going to renault.

You need a computer to plug in idealy a Renault one as that will tell you the exact fault code.

As for the lught I take it your auto lights have stopped working if so then keys in the iginiton turn them a bit then flash the full beams on and off twice quickly the car beeps at you then take the keys out the ignitions and its ok again.

I'm sure the above answers can be found with a serach.

I mean the light on the dash for the EMS. I didn't know my car had automatic lights.
